"Hi Dr. Sampath, The reason for my email this morning is to let you know that last night, we found out that she was accepted to the University of Notre Dame. As you may remember, this was her first choice for college. When we started working with you for ACT prep, you suggested that with Notre Dame as her goal, she should aim for a 35 ACT. We trained with you last winter and into spring, and on her first attempt, she got a 34. In June, she made another attempt and got that 35 composite she was hoping for (and working for!). I know many factors contribute to an acceptance from an elite school, but I am certain that the 35 ACT helped boost her application! I am thankful for your suggestions from the beginning and, of course, for your help getting my daughter prepped for the ACT and helping her knock it out of the park! To say the least, we are ecstatic for her!"

"Hello Dr, Sampath, Just wanted to update you that my son has achieved his target ACT score of 34. He did your bootcamp in Nov and it helped him a lot in English and Math. He didn't take the tests quite seriously yet, also his phone habits and late nights continued. We did a private consultation with you in early January and then he became a little more focused. He started to get a perfect score in Math in the practice tests. He took the ACT in Feb and scored 33 composite, Math 36, English 32, Reading 32, Science 32. He tested again in March and got Composite 33 again, Math 35, English 34, Science 31 and Reading 30. So his composite scores in both tests remain the same, but his superscore is 34. Again, thank you for all your help throughout and giving the best advice possible."

He seemed a little disappointed with the 34 and very happy with 36 in Math without a calculator and overall he seems happy with it. Leading up to the exam he: 1) attended your ACT crash course [Note: This student had previously attended our SAT-PSAT Boot Camp.] 2) used your ACT handbook 3) attended your private tutoring to zero in on the most challenging areas 4) completed 3 practice tests the weeks leading up to the exam and then worked on the questions he missed in between each practice test 5) took the practice tests early in the morning on weekends with timer to simulate the actual environment 6) went to bed at 9:30 most nights leading up to the test All of these activities helped him to gain confidence and remove some of the uncertainty.
