The SAT-PSAT Reading-Writing section expects students to answer 54 questions in 64 minutes. Reading comprehension skills, English grammar rules, and rhetorical skills are evaluated. Most schools do NOT teach English grammar today, so students typically choose the multiple choice that 'looks right,' 'sounds right,' or 'does not look weird.' (Ask your student!) For a meaningful score improvement, students should master these grammar rules and rhetorical skills.

Parents are strongly encouraged to view the Preliminaries chapter of this program with their student. This will help parents understand how they can help their student plan the study timetable and achieve mastery of the material in a timely fashion.
